When purchasing a Professional or Enterprise plan, we offer a one-time complimentary installation service.
Before doing so, you will need to make sure a couple of things are taken care of on your end, things we, unfortunately, can not provide as part of our installation service:
1 .Server access
Since we recommend using VPS or VDS with Bloxby, we provide our free installation service for VPS or VDS hosting.
We need root access to your server with a fresh copy of the Linux operating system installed. (we recommend using Ubuntu 18.04).
Also, you can provide access to your account from the service where you have purchased VPS or VDS.
2. Domain name and DNS
Make sure you have a domain name ready for usage. For the script to work correctly, you need to configure DNS records:
- Add a DNS “A” record with a value “@” which points to your server IP address
- Add a second DNS “A” record with value “*” which also points to your server IP address
Also, you can provide access to your account from the service where you have purchased your domain and we’ll configure records for you.
