Hi All:
We have a business model that would look something like this:
- User gets access to (1) "pre-built" multi-page website from us. Note it's a free product we are giving our clients as a bonus when the they purchase our core product.
- We would want to develop the "pre-built" site once, and assign it to a "package" so that it can be distributed to new users as they are added.
- Once the user has been assigned the "package" we would make some basic customizations on their behalf like adding their logo and contact info.
Pretty straightfoward. At least we think so...
However, we are a little confused how to best achieve this using Bloxby, in particular, how to best create the site? Do we make a "template" or do we make a "site". What is the the difference between the two and how do they relate to each other. What are the advantages and/or limitations of one versus the other?
We see sites and templates within the admin back-end but are unsure which one to use in order to best satisfy the requirements of our business model.
Any help is greatly appreciated. We would love to here from others what they are using especially if you have a similar business model.
Regards,
J.
