Runnig webpack resets fileownership

Hello,

Since I'm having issues on configuring webpack server, I'm running the build command everytime I make changes. However, running the npm run build command resets some folder and file permissions. Causing the error of no longer being able to upload images since the folder is owned by 'sudo'.

I'm running an apache server on centos. Is this a common issue? Or any idea on how to fix this?
