Unfortunately I've tried to address this via email support for pre-sales purposes and after a response to a subsequent, unrelated question was directed to utilize the forum. I'd recommend iterating on some of this in the knowledgebase as I don't feel it was reasonable for me to jump through the hoops that I have.
I'm noticing that support seems to be varied between Plesk and cPanel. I'd like to know what is recommended, with the current application's support.
My ideal use-case is that I'm able to manage and publish new vhosts utilizing bloxby. I'm interested in utilizing either Plesk or cPanel for their LetsEncrypt renewal modules. Ideally these are properly configured to allow hosting mail and alternate services on the same server (worst case scenario, I can point MX records and alternate services to another server, however not ideal). After browsing posts, I am seeing inconsistencies in experiences. Some people seem to have issues with Plesk when a domain is setup via the interface on the server, others sound like they're having no issues (I'm not sure if they're utilizing the publishing on different domains, or just publishing a single domain and utilizing bloxby strictly as a site builder).
In short, I want to know what's the developer recommended environment setup. Worst case scenario, I have no objection to ditching both Plesk and cPanel if they're going to cause issues for bloxby; investing independently in creating a solution for the LetsEncrypt automation.
Would love to speak with one of the developers directly via Skype, Slack, etc. I hope to be a long term contributor to the community and look forward to what's in store.
