On changing the opacity of background color remains unchanged in preview.

I have a default block with a background image and a div on it. Using the editor I have changed the opacity of the div from 0.3 to 1 (Div marked in red. Please refer the attached screenshot). After applied the changes and also in the live preview the block remains the same as default. I checkd on inspect element and the inline style go changed to "background-color: rgba(0,0,0,1)" but the css section remains the same as before with value 0.3. So i'm getting the preview unchanged. How can i fix this?
