/home if we are using public site

Hi,

I'm still using custom pages for my public site, i wanted to use the feature "Use as public site" so i just created a new site with multiple pages and checked the box to Use this site as main site.

It works and the homepage is loading fine but when i visit the other pages the URL includes /home/pagename

For example i created additional page with the name about

Expected URL: mysite.com/about

Appearing URL: mysite.com/home/about

Kindly let me know how to remove /home from the URL, so i can use this feature instead of my custom site.
