Does the newest version of the software 1.1.0 have any improvements to the Global checkbox element?
Only one of our team members has been able to get it working and I haven't heard of a customer getting it to work yet. It's very quirky. From reading on the forum it's said that you need to use the exact same element on each page and check global on all. Then if you make a change on one, it will change all.
In theory this sounds good but in practice it's not seeming to work with customers. From what I can tell they are using the same blocks but you never know for sure and there is no way to check. Possibly it can be implemented where the element has an assigned class or id and that class would need to be the same across all. There should be a way to see what that class is in the block settings though.
Any recommendations on getting this to work? I could be wrong but it seems as if any changes had been made to any of the blocks it would not work. So basically this would only work if using brand new fresh blocks, with no changes from the very start. So you had to go in with the intention of using global.
