Drag blocks or components on a popup ( If user wants ) instead of canvas

Hello team,

A developer from abacies here. I am working on a feature enhancement where a user can enable popup (given an option called "enable popup") on the canvas in the page builder. Now user should be able to drag and drop the blocks,components etc on that popup instead of canvas which is not working. Even though popup is enabled blocks/components are dropping on the canvas itself. Which are the core files of bloxby do I need to have a look at in-order to have a control of dragging and dropping the blocks/components? I appreciate your help. Please refer the attached screenshot for more clarification.
